Cole Denton Sweeps Cordele Motor Speedway Doubleheader
Cordele, GA, October 6, 2025— Cole Denton continued his remarkable 2025 season Saturday night at Cordele Motor Speedway, sweeping both Pro Legend Car feature events in a doubleheader against a large combined field of 18 Young Lions and Semi-Pro drivers. The performance extended his win streak to nine straight at Cordele and marked his 12th victory in a row in his #46 Legend Car.
Denton set the tone early by qualifying on the pole and leading the opening feature. The race featured multiple cautions, including a late yellow with four laps to go that set up a dramatic finish. On the final lap, Denton went three-wide down the backstretch, holding firm on the high line and powering off turn four to take the checkered flag by two car lengths. The two cars behind him crossed the line side-by-side for second and third.
In the second feature, Denton once again started from the pole position and never looked back, driving a clean and composed race to complete the evening sweep.
“This one was a battle,” said Denton. “The first race got pretty wild with all the cautions, but my car was hooked up and I knew if I could roll the top, I had a shot. Pulling off the sweep tonight against such a strong field means a lot. My team has been working hard, and it’s great to keep the momentum going.”
Next up, Denton will compete in his Legend Car at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on October 18th and 25th for the INEX Legend Car Nationals, where he’ll face top drivers from across the country. Following that, he’ll make his Pro Late Model debut with Naake Motorsports at Kern County Raceway Park on November 15th, marking the next step forward in his rapidly advancing racing career.
At just 15 years old, Denton has emerged as one of the brightest young stars in grassroots motorsports — combining racecraft, maturity, and determination to consistently perform under pressure.
